Since Playster first launched back in 2014, our talented team has worked non-stop to keep upgrading the service with a focus on making it better every day. Yes, we were faced with some pretty big challenges, but thanks to everyone’s passion and a lot of hard work, we were able to overcome them. Entering the game late with a modest library, we had to grow quickly, take risks and think on our feet — and that’s exactly what we did.
Fast forward 18 months and we’re on the verge of introducing the next generation of Playster to the world. With exciting new content deals, an interface overhaul and revamped iOS and Android apps, Playster is better than it has ever been. These are some seriously exciting times!
Right now, Playster is the only service that offers truly unlimited access to books and audiobooks and we can’t wait to treat our 50,000 members — and growing — to much more. We’ve recently closed two landmark music deals that will turn Playster into a full-fledged music streaming platform and the way our members can discover new music, books, movies and games is possibly one of the most exciting things about the next generation.
With over 60,000 books, close to a million ebooks, over a million songs and thousands of documentaries and casual games for the whole family, Playster’s growing catalog is something I’m particularly proud of.
