The best business books to look out for in 2022

One lesson every entrepreneur should remember, is to make sure to keep reading and keep learning from your peers and colleagues.

As 2022 gets underway, it’s important to take stock of the past few years and the changes that they’ve triggered in business and other industries on a global scale. We believe in the importance of taking the time to learn from others and listen to what your peers are saying.

With that in mind, here are some of my favourite business books from 2022 which will help you stay ahead of the curve!

Converted: The Data-Driven Way to Win Customers’ Hearts, by Neil Hoyne.

Written by Google’s Chief Measurement Strategist, Converted is a research-backed business book that demonstrates just how important data is going to be over the next decade. As AI and machine learning improve, big data is helping businesses across all sectors from marketing to insurance understand what their customers want, what they need, and how to give it to them.

The Metaverse, by Matthew Ball.

Two years ago, everybody thought the metaverse was only found in The Matrix. Today, it’s everywhere. From Roblox to Facebook, everybody is talking about the metaverse. In his new book about the transformational power the metaverse is going to have over global business, venture capitalist Matthew Ball explores the potential of the metaverse and offers serious lessons for investors and business professionals looking to the future.

Amp It Up, by Frank Slootman.

Amp It Up is an ambitious book: it sets out to teach the reader how to transform a business for maximum growth in an efficient, cost-effective, and above all, successful way. Amp It Up isn’t going to revolutionise your business overnight, but if you’re wondering whether 2022 is the year for you to start scaling up, Slootman’s book is a fantastic place to start.
